American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Leominster, Massachusetts.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Massachusetts, requiring a current MA RN license and a minimum of 18 months ER experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
  • Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week (7 : 00pm - 7 : 30am)
  • Potential to float to another campus as needed
  • Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
  • Possible need to adjust start times by up to four hours based on departmental needs
  • Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience strongly preferred
  • Must be flexible to adjust start time by up to four hours based on critical departmental needs
  • Pass / fail EKG test required during orientation with only one attempt permitted
  • Pre-employment and orientation modules must be completed as assigned
  • Orientation includes non-billable modules and competency assessments
  • Team-based environment with expectations for flexibility and professionalism

    • Requirements

  • Active MA RN license in hand is required
  • At least 18 months of recent Emergency Department nursing experience is required
  • Certifications required : Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred
  • Must provide two professional references, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
  • Must not have any priors on nursing license
  • Candidates must reside at least 200 miles from the facility
