The Executive Director for Corporate Engagement reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Corporate and Foundation Relations and collaborates closely with the Executive Director of Corporate Relations. The primary responsibility of this role is to achieve key organizational objectives, including establishing and managing a university-wide Corporate Coordinating Committee and foster strategic corporate partnerships across the university. The Executive Director serves as a liaison to the Center for Career Engagement and University Advancement's alumni networks team, as well as to school / unit-based leaders such as the Director of Industry Relations at the McKelvey School of Engineering and the Associate Dean & Director of Corporate Relations at the Olin School of Business. This role involves establishing and disseminating university-wide corporate engagement metrics to support and enhance corporate relationships. Additionally, the Executive Director will undertake corporate-related projects that benefit schools and units, thereby strengthening the university's holistic relationships with corporations. • Compile, analyze, and disseminate comprehensive metrics : Develop and distribute thorough metrics that evaluate the effectiveness and impact of the university's comprehensive corporate relationships. Utilize these metrics to guide strategic decisions, enhance university-wide engagement, and communicate results to university leadership effectively. Attain an in-depth understanding of the unique aspirations, goals, and success metrics employed by each school and unit in their corporate engagements. Use this knowledge to tailor and integrate university-wide metrics that align with and support these individual objectives.
  • Perform special projects : Undertake specialized projects to support schools and units, including University Advancement, in achieving their comprehensive corporate engagement objectives.
  • Supervise direct reports : Provide coaching, support, and mentorship as they work to achieve their performance targets and goals. Evaluate performance through regular meetings and annual reviews. Future staff growth is possible.
