Robert Half is partnering exclusively with a GROWING manufacturing company for their Sr. General Ledger Accountant opening. This is a key member of the accounting team and will play a critical role in various accounting / finance initiatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger in accordance with company policies and GAAP requirements
  • Serve as a key participant in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial data
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis, identifying and resolving variances as necessary
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting processes and internal controls
  • Drive and support process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by management

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, in a manufacturing environment required
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and month-end close processes
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
