Job Description
Responsible for developing a variety of product designs for home and commercial markets. This position will be responsible for developing new products; supporting legacy products; sizing and selecting components; creating associated documentation; and supporting product testing, qualification and production.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Review customer specifications and requirements and develop compliant designs to best support them.
- Develop manufacturing drawings, bills of material and associated supporting documentation for fabrication and delivery of products and prototypes.
- Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services.
- Support testing, qualification, documentation and analysis of prototypes, products, systems or subsystems.
- Development of technical documentation, manuals and procedures.
- Work with manufacturing and cross functional teams to achieve project cost and manufacturing efficiency goals.
- Hands-on support of prototype fabrication, assembly and test.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
7+ years of relevant experience.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge in Electrical, Software and Systems.Competent using MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint).Maintain and develop technical knowledge by conferring with technical specialists and suppliers, attending educational workshops, and reviewing professional publications.Additional Job Details
