The Position

At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For 12 weeks, interns will be immersed in the environment of a global pharmaceutical company and contribute to the line of business by providing sustainable and meaningful project work. This role provide an engineering student marketable experience related to engineering fundamentals, system troubleshooting, basic project management, change management, engineering documentation, construction and system start-up within a 24/7 commercial scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

This role is based onsite at our West Lebanon, NH bio-production facility. Work schedule is: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm.

Program Start: May 26, 2026.

Program End: August 14, 2026.

Relationships

Reports to: Senior Manager, Project Engineering

Essential Functions

• Support project design/ project development/ construction
• Support contractor selection and equipment procurement
• Support Utilities, Systems and Equipment (troubleshooting/start up)
• Development of engineering documentation packages and project close-drawings
• Drawing field walk downs including P&ID, ARC, Electrical Panel Schedule
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to develop Scope of Work (SOW) for project
• Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and industry codes.
• Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be currently attending an accredited four-year college or university pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a related Engineering major
• Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
• Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
