Job Listing: Experienced Caregiver (Age 50+) for Advanced Alzheimer's Care Location: Clarksville Tennessee Job Type: Part-Time 12 hour shift on-going Tuesday's with possibility of additional 12 hour shift during the week About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate, mature, and experienced caregiver aged 50 or older to provide dedicated support to an elderly client living with advanced Alzheimer's disease. This role is ideal for someone with a calm, nurturing presence and a deep understanding of memory care needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and proactive, with the ability to not only manage day-to-day care needs but also engage the client in meaningful social and memory-stimulating activities. Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on care and supervision tailored to advanced Alzheimer's needs
• Prepare healthy, home-cooked meals
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, and medication reminders
• Engage the client in memory games, music, gentle physical activity, and conversation
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and clean-living environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support throughout the day

Qualifications:

• 50 years of age or older (life experience and maturity highly valued)
• Minimum 2 years of experience caring for individuals with advanced Alzheimer's or dementia
• Strong understanding of Alzheimer's progression and effective communication strategies
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for elder care
• Ability to cook nutritious meals and maintain a tidy home
• Reliable transportation preferred

Every Tuesday on-going 8a to 8p possible additional shift coverage during the week.
