Pediatric Surgeon at Riley Hospital for Children, Nationally Ranked Hospital

IU Health Physicians has an employment opportunity for a Pediatric General Surgeon to focus on clinical care and health science research. This Physician would join the Pediatric Surgery Group in Indianapolis at Riley Hospital for Children along with two other hospitals and 11 off-site locations! This surgical group is team oriented, patient centered and energetic while being focused on education and achieving the best outcomes.

Position Details:

• Work collaboratively with a team of 9 Surgeons and 12 Advanced Practice Providers
• Block scheduling with shared call amongst Surgeons; some clinic work at nearby outreach locations
• Routine procedures for pediatric general surgery and trauma
• Protected research time towards pediatric surgery patient populations
• 10-20 procedures weekly

Qualifications:

• Fellowship in Pediatric General Surgery Required
• Board Eligible/Board Certified
• MD, DO or equivalent education
• Experience in health science research
• Able to obtain Indiana License
