POSITION SUMMARY

The Daniels Fund Scholar Internship provides an immersive, multidisciplinary shadowing experience for a student pursuing a health-related field of study. Over an 8–12 week period, the intern will observe and engage with professionals across inpatient spinal cord injury (SCI), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and outpatient service areas. The internship emphasizes exposure to clinical care, rehabilitation therapies, psychology / neuropsychology, and the administrative and business functions of a healthcare organization.

Rate of pay : $18.65 per hour (stipend included rate $21.00)

Number of positions : 2

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Licensure / Certification / Registrations : None required.
• Education : Must be a current Daniels Fund Scholar enrolled in a health-related academic program.
• Experience : No prior experience required; interest in healthcare careers strongly preferred.
• Skills & Abilities : Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Demonstrated interest in clinical care, rehabilitation, or healthcare administration. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff.
