Descripción del trabajoManage the Emergency Room in the absence of the Director, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality patient care. Plan and allocate resources based on patient volume, workload, and special activities. Assist in the development, review, and revision of unit standards, policies, and procedures. Participate in interviewing, hiring, and evaluating staff, ensuring licensure, competencies, and mandatory training are current. Facilitate orientation and ongoing training for new employees, students, and volunteers. Maintain open communication with other departments to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care. Promote a positive patient experience through leadership, collaboration, and operational oversight. Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (required) BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program (preferred) Current RN licensure in Virginia or multi-state compact license eligible for VA practice (required) ER Management experience is a must American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider (required) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor (within 1 year of hire) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor (within 30 days of hire) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or PALS Instructor (within 1 year of hire)

- Shift : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM and 3 : 00 PM 11 : 00 PM (Rotating)
- Job Type : Permanent
- Guaranteed Hours : (40 hours / week)
- Compensation : Based on experience (Negotiable)
