Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in psychiatric care, with an assignment based in Savannah, GA. This contract role invites candidates to provide essential mental health support within an inpatient setting, utilizing expert clinical skills to enhance patient outcomes.

Schedule :

  • Day Shift : 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 30 p.m.
  • Night Shift : 7 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 30 a.m.
  • 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to inform treatment plans
  • Manage medication distribution accurately and safely
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs
  • Provide patient education and emotional support throughout treatment
  • Perform crisis intervention as situations arise, ensuring patient and staff safety
  • Maintain detailed documentation and timely reporting of patient progress and incidents

    • Qualifications :

  • Current Georgia RN Nursing License or Compact License eligibility
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of one year experience in an inpatient psychiatric nursing role
