Shift Types : 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) - Days, Nights, Weekends

Annual ED Volume : 25,000

Hospital Beds : 75

ED Beds : 21

Patients per Hour : 2.0

EMR : Epic

Trauma Designation : Not Designated (Regional Transfer System)

Specialty Backup : Internal Medicine, Cardiology

Clinical Responsibilities

Perform direct patient care for emergency presentations across all acuity levels

Supervise APPs during shifts

Respond to in-house codes in collaboration with the EM and HM teams

Provider Requirements

License : Active Louisiana Medical License

DEA / CSR : Active Louisiana DEA & Controlled Substance Registration

Certifications Required :

• ATLS, PALS, ACLS Required if non-ABEM / Non-AOBEM

Board Certification :

Preferred : ABEM / AOBEM

Accepted : IM / FM with valid ATLS, PALS, ACLS

Experience : Minimum 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience

Start Date Readiness : October availability preferred

Credentialing

Temporary Privileges : Yes (30-day turnaround for clean files)

Full Privileges : 60 days

Go-Live Date : September 30, 2025
