About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : 12-Hour Days

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience

License : Active RN License required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• Experience in IABP, CRRT, Fresh OHS from the OR
• Ability to titrate drips including Dex, Propofol, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Levophed, Insulin, Cardene
• Competency in reading dysrhythmias

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Intensive Care setting.

The nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients with common diagnoses such as AMI, CAD, and PVD.

Ratios are typically 1 : 2 or 1 : 1 based on patient acuity.

Nurses will read strips and have access to in-room monitors for continuous patient monitoring.

There is a requirement for two weekend shifts per pay period.

Holiday shifts may also be required.

Nurses must be flexible and willing to float based on department skill needs.

There will be a maximum of three call shifts every 12 weeks as per contract.

The unit will have respiratory therapy available 24 / 7 for support.

Experience with Impella and Cerner charting system is desired.
