GCU Traditional Campus located in Phoenix, AZ :

  • Courses are in-person and on-campus for the Spring 2026 semester (01 / 05 / 2026 - 04 / 26 / 2026)

    • Course : Designing with Motion Graphics

    During this course students will create animated graphics in a variety of mediums to meet client business needs. This course includes reading, writing, and lab assignments and requires the creation and exhibition of student artwork. Technology requirement : Students provide their own laptop, external drive for back-ups, mouse and / or graphics tablet for input. Students will use industry-standard software to complete assignments.

    What You Will Do :

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies.
  • Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
  • Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

    • What You Will Bring :

  • Minimum : Masters in Graphic Design or Masters in Visual Communications or Masters in Animation or Masters in any related field AND

    • At least two years professional experience in the design and production of motion graphics.

  • Specific software knowledge in After Effects and Premiere Pro required.
