Country Time Inn is seeking an enthusiastic Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and assist in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to residents at Country Time Inn.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Meal Assistance : Help prepare, portion, and serve meals to residents according to dietary plans and special requests.
  • Sanitation & Cleanliness : Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
  • Resident Support : Provide meal assistance to residents as needed, including helping with meal setup and serving, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Food Safety : Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices, to ensure food is safe for consumption.
  • Inventory Support : Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies, checking inventory, and notifying the Dietary Manager of any shortages or supply needs.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with the dietary team to ensure the kitchen and dining areas run smoothly, assisting with food prep and meal service as directed.
  • Resident Engagement : Assist in fulfilling special dietary requests and ensuring residents’ individual preferences and needs are met during meal times.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous experience in a food service role (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow directions and work efficiently as part of a team
  • Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
