The Opportunity

As a Senior Vendor Manager at Adobe, you will have an outstanding opportunity to build the future of our Employee Experience (EX) organization. You will lead business initiatives that have a global impact, using your expertise in vendor governance and performance management to drive outstanding improvements. This role offers you the opportunity to influence executive collaborators and compose scalable frameworks that will transform vendor operations worldwide!

What You'll Do

  • Develop and establish vendor management frameworks, governance models, and performance metrics.
  • Lead strategic vendor initiatives, including transformation programs and global sourcing strategies, to achieve long-term EX goals.
  • Advise senior leadership on vendor-related risks, issues, and opportunities, serving as a subject matter expert.
  • Establish and nurture formal connections with essential internal and external collaborators, such as Procurement, Legal, Finance, and global vendor partners.
  • Facilitate and manage important Supplier Business Reviews, ensuring SLA deliverables and benchmarks are impartially reviewed and met.
  • Prepare for procurement-led negotiations, contract renewals, and RFx processes, considering equivalent experience for high-impact vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate the development of tools and systems for vendor performance tracking, reporting, and analytics.
  • Guide less experienced vendor managers and support talent growth within the EX Vendor Management Office.

What You Need To Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree required; higher-level degree preferred in business, supply chain, finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or strategic sourcing, with a global scope.
  • Proven ability to work with abstract concepts and complex business challenges.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and influencing senior collaborators.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with enterprise vendor management systems and performance analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of corporate services categories such as facility services, talent operations, and other shared service operations is preferred.
  • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $119,800 $217,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
