What You'll Do : Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual situations, hazards, or security-related violations to the appropriate authorities. Assist in maintaining order during shift changes, visitor arrivals, and / or deliveries as required by site-specific protocols. Maintain accurate records and logs of all access control activities and incidents as directed by Allied Universal and site management. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
