ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Description & Requirements

Job Details :

  • Weekend night position with charge experience required
  • Floating between departments and / or local locations within 20 miles required
  • Minimum 2 years current experience in large OR required
  • Must be able to scrub and work in fast-paced environment
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment
  • Required education : Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
  • Required certifications : State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License, BLS through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross
  • Preferred certifications : PALS and ACLS
  • Epic experience preferred but not required (can train on-site)
  • Ortho, EENT, and / or vascular experience preferred
  • Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients
  • Ensure safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care
  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs
  • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient / family and healthcare team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
  • Complete patient population / age-specific / procedure and protocol education and competency testing
