Steingolds Bakehouse is looking to add to its growing team on Grand Avenue. As the Lead cashier the our most guest facing postion it is important to maintain a great relationship with our customers. Have a great knowledge of our savory and pastry menus. This postion requires a freindly and patient person who is willing to guide all guest through our extensive deli menu. Avalblity is very important we are currently operating Thursday - Friday - Saturday - Sunday from 7am - 2PM

Processing sales transactions and taking payments

Calculating the cost of products or services

Calculating and returning change for cash transactions

Maintaining adequate change denominations and requesting additional change

Answering customer questions about products or services and providing recommendations based on customer needs and wants

Cross-selling and upselling products

Reconciling cash drawers and sales receipts

Responding to and resolving customer complaints and concerns

Processing layaways, returns and exchanges

Maintaining clean and tidy checkout and merchandise areas

• Managing counts in Toast
• Communicating with Director of Operations and Culineary Director

Assisting in stocking and rotating merchandise

Great understanding of food menu and market items

Staying up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information
