We're currently seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Manager located in Seattle, WA . Overview : We are seeking a highly dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team for a contract in the Transportation Industry. The Quality Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing quality assurance protocols, ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with various departments, including operations, safety, and compliance, to establish quality benchmarks and drive initiatives that sustain exceptional service quality. The Quality Assurance Manager will also lead the training and development of staff members to understand quality assurance processes and their importance in daily operations. Strong analytical skills will be essential as well for identifying quality issues and implementing corrective action plans as necessary. Required Education : Bachelors Degree Required Certifications / Licenses : Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred Certifications / Licenses : Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Required Qualifications : In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities. Proactive individual who can effectively collaborate with various departments Understand quality assurance processes and their importance in daily operations Strong analytical skills Understand industry regulations and standards, with a proven track record in quality assurance management. Proven experience in a quality assurance role within the transportation or logistics industry. Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies, such as ISO 9001 and FTA Requirements. Responsibilities : Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards. Analyze and report on quality metrics and trends to senior management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions. Design and conduct training programs for staff on quality assurance practices and procedures. Maintain comprehensive documentation for quality assurance processes and audits. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall service quality and operational efficiency. Preferred skills and abilities : Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Salary : $137,000.00 / annually Bonus Pay : A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
