Shift : 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2,200 - $2,360

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license (required for Illinois nursing jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Proven clinical skills in cardiac ICU, open heart surgery, medical ICU, and surgical ICU patient care

Strong communication and teamwork abilities

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill cardiac ICU patients

Monitor and manage patients post-open heart surgery and complex cardiac procedures

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement individualized care plans

Conduct thorough assessments, administer medications, and respond to medical emergencies

Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and healthcare providers
