Emergency Veterinary Assistant

VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital has opportunities available for Veterinary Assistants to join our Emergency and Critical Care team!

Shift : Full-time opportunities, 3 x 13-hour shifts. With this expansion, we are seeking Overnight Assistants 7 pm - 8 am.

Compensation : $ 18 - 30 / hr

The starting range is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field.

Shift Differential : A shift differential is offered to associates who work between certain hours.

Position overview :

Veterinary Assistants will primarily work alongside our ER and ICU technicians to assist in providing patient care. Veterinary Assistants must be motivated and dedicated workers with a strong work ethic, excellent client communication skills and well demonstrated professionalism. This position does require candidates to be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and demonstrate attention to detail while handling heavy caseloads.
