Overview:
A top-tier public accounting firm is hiring an experienced Tax Manager to help lead its growing tax practice. This is an opportunity to join a values-driven organization that places a high priority on flexibility, mentorship, and delivering client excellence. The firm supports hybrid work schedules and fully remote arrangements for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead client engagements, including planning, budgeting, and supervising tax preparation and review processes
Provide expert-level tax compliance and consulting services to diverse clients
Mentor and develop junior staff and seniors within the department
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, offering proactive advice and fostering long-term relationships
Stay current with tax legislation and ensure clients remain in compliance while identifying opportunities for tax savings
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
CPA license required
5+ years of recent public accounting experience with a focus in tax
Strong technical knowledge in federal, state, and local tax regulations
Proven leadership ability and experience managing teams and client relationships
