• MAJOR TASKS :
• Develop CNC programs,
• Develop documentation,
• Enter part geometry into CAD / CAM system for new and existing programs,
• Provide ideas and input on tooling design,
• Revise existing CNC programs,
• Specify and order cutting tools,
• Develop CNC machining processes,
• Troubleshoot machine and fixture problems,
• Troubleshoot quality problems relating to machining,
• Work to continually improve processes,
• Read and interpret drawings and computer designs,
• Be willing to work extended periods of overtime when job requires,
• Work with vendors as well as customers in problem solving and process improvement,
• Verify CNC programs guarantee they are correct.
• WORKER QUALIFICATIONS :
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions,
• Strong trigonometry and Geometry math skills,
• Ability to write legibly,
• Ability to design, read and interpret blueprints,
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and graphic packages,
• Working knowledge of cutting tools, machining tool controls, machining fixtures and machining processes,
• EXPERIENCE :

Minimum of 5 years CNC Machine Programming experience required.
