TheOutpatient Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a casual Radiologic Technologist to be based out of our Surgery Center in Glen Mills.

PRIMARY FUNCTION :

To perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to departmental policy and guidelines

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Demonstrates complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment, radiology supported computer systems, and CD burners.
• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures and quality control as defined by department guidelines.
• Assist with the coordination of workflow and patient care activities.
• Obtain clinical history regarding reason for examination and obtains appropriate consent.
• Assists in the learning process of students and new staff in departmental procedures, quality control and radiation safety.
• Maintains required credentials for CPR, critical skills, and mandatory in-service education.
• Reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
• Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, including knowledge of growth and development.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients, family members, physicians and staff.
• Performs other duties as required.

Hourly Pay Range : $32.77 - $52.43This pay rate / range represents ChristianaCares good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
