OBG Physician

Overview

WVU Health System seeks an OB / Gyn Physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Martinsburg, WV.

WVUHS Medical Group is the employer; the position is within the OB / Gyn area, serving patients from adolescence through menopause and beyond.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will practice in the area of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Qualifications

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license. Applicants must have completed an OB / Gyn Residency program, as well as an Obstetrics and Gynecology fellowship program. Applicants must be board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics / Gynecology. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Berkeley Medical Center serves the community as a 195-bed non-profit acute care hospital. BMC offers radiology services including MRI, PET, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology; a wound care center with two hyperbaric chambers, a NICU, a 20-bed ICU, oncology services, neurosurgery services (including a Mazor robot) and a Cardiac Cath Lab. BMC recently expanded OR services with additional outpatient and main-hospital ORs to grow robotics, orthopedics, and vascular health.

Our Eastern Panhandle location is about an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD, offering a rural atmosphere with easy access to major cities.
