UNION (SPECIAL AND SUPERIOR OFFICERS BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION - SSOBA)

No experience necessary

Prior Security, Military Public Safety, Law Enforcement or Corrections Department experience a plus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to :

  • § Frequent patrol of building lobbies, stairwells and other assigned areas;

§ Files accurate reports; and

§ Follows proper protocol and procedures in the event of crime / accident / incident.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS :

  • § High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • § Valid NYS Driver License;
  • § Current security license (preferred); current certificates (preferred), FDNY Certificate of Fitness (preferred);
  • § Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a security capacity, residential environment (preferred);
  • § Outstanding customer service;

    • § Proficient report writing; and

    § Great communication skills.
