Job Description

This is a Full Time, benefitted 10 – hour Night shift position located at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas. The shift starts at 2000 and is Monday – Thursday. No weekends and no call. An Incentive of $4K, and $3K Relocation assistance are included for eligible new hires.

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas has served the growing communities of San Diego’s coastal North County since 1978. With 142 beds, we offer a full range of clinical and surgical services, including North County’s first Primary Stroke Center, a regionally recognized brain injury program, state-of-the-art imaging center, 24-hour emergency room care and award-winning OB-GYN, maternal health and infant health services.Join our surgical team at Scripps Encinitas where you will work with a friendly, close-knit group. There are 6 surgical suites and your duties will consist of:

• Coordinating the use of supplies, instruments and equipment

• Monitoring the patient and staff

• Recording the progress of the operation

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

· Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

· Must remain in original department/specialty

· Must remain in original Job Title

· Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Position Pay Range: $57.00-$81.60/hour

Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state. • One year of RN experience in the Operating Room or successful completion of Scripps’ peri-operative training program or an approved external peri-operative training program

• California Registered Nurse License

• Current American Heart Association, BLS provider certification

• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English

• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

• Registered Nursing Degree from an accredited school of nursing

Preferred

• Two years or more of RN experience in the Main Operating Room

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing

• Experience in General, Robotics, Ortho, and Gynecological

• CNOR

  Required
