About The Position

Job Summary :

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our Microbiology Department . The successful candidate will perform complex microbiological testing procedures in accordance with laboratory protocols, under the supervision of senior laboratory staff. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate diagnostic results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform microbiological testing on clinical specimens (e.g., culture, identification, and susceptibility testing of bacteria, fungi, and other pathogens).

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment according to established protocols.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality control protocols.

Document and review test results accurately in the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

Report abnormal or critical findings to the appropriate medical personnel promptly.

Participate in continuing education and competency assessments.

Collaborate with other technologists and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely reporting.
