Position Overview / Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist :
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for over 60,000 employees across various regions, including union and non-union staff.
- Gather, analyze, and summarize financial data to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage employee data entry, run payroll processes, prepare reports, and handle manual checks and stop payments.
- Maintain payroll integrity through audits, data analysis, and collaboration with our client's team.
- Provide exceptional customer service and problem resolution to operational staff through email and phone communication.
Required Skills for Payroll Specialist :
GED or High School Diploma required; an Associate's degree or Technical Training is preferred.1-3 years of experience in payroll or data entry, with familiarity in payroll software systems like ADP or Kronos preferred.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and effective communication.Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.What's in it for you?
