Crain Walnut Shelling is one of the largest walnut processors in the region. We’re expanding our technology team and looking for a Software Developer to help modernize our systems and connect plant-floor operations with business tools.

• Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain custom applications using
• Laravel and React
• Design and optimize
• SQL databases
• for transactions, and data-lakes / warehouses.
• Create user-friendly dashboards and reporting tools for operators and management.
• Integrate Windows-based applications with factory systems and automation equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and management to capture requirements and turn them into scalable software solutions.
• Ensure reliable, secure communication between plant-floor devices and IT systems through proper
• networking setup and troubleshooting
• Support and enhance connectivity to sensors, PLCs, and industrial equipment through data pipelines and APIs.
• Required Skills
• Proficiency in modern web frameworks such as Laravel, and React
• Proficiency in Modern PHP, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Batch
• Proficiency in database design, and data modeling
• Windows development experience.
• General understanding of application layer networking, and transport layer networking.
• Nice-to-Have Skills (a plus, but not required)
• Experience with
• industrial communication protocols
• (OPC UA, Modbus).
• Familiarity with
• PLC integration
• or sensor data collection.
• Exposure to SCADA, MES, or industrial IOT platforms

Pay : $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
