The Collections Specialist Lead (Lead Phlebotomist) position supports the Blood Center by collecting blood donations (blood and blood products) safely from volunteer donors in a compassionate and professional manner. The Lead Staff ensures all staff are following procedures and representing the Blood Center in the best way possible. This position reports directly to the Donor Collections Manager.

Hours vary daily based on schedule of blood drives and can be either 7am - 3pm or 12pm - 8pm with a schedule provided two weeks in advance. To best meet the needs of our donors and community, staff work a variable schedule which may include early mornings, late nights, and on-call to cover weekends and holidays.
