New Jersey Licensed Behavioral Health Manager

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Makes timely intensity of services determinations or refers to higher-level review when indicated

Provides linkage to community services as needed and identifies a wide range of community resources

Adheres to customer service level agreements, documentation requirements, and recognized ethical standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Graduate degree from an accredited educational program in Social Work, Clinical / Counseling Psychology

Minimum of two years of experience in children's mental health, juvenile justice, or related public sector human services

Active NJ clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Psychologist

Background in family systems, community systems, and case management

Ability to screen and assess crisis and emergency calls based on DCF / CSOC-approved criteria
