As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned shelter locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visibility and proactive engagement. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the shelter environment.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.

Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal procedures, maintaining accurate and timely records.

Communicate professionally with shelter staff, residents, and visitors to address security-related concerns and assist as needed.

Remain alert and aware of surroundings to identify potential issues within the shelter location, escalating concerns following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least one year of security-related experience.

Provide proof of high school diploma or equivalent as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
