We offer a full range of integrated accounting, consulting and business management services from tax planning and audits to the most detailed analysis of acquisitions and financial restructuring./ppAnchin is consistently recognized as one of the Best of the Best accounting firms in the country, a Best Place to Work in New York City and New York State, and a Best Accounting Firm to Work For Nationwide./ppAbout the Position:/ppThe Emerging Companies Group Tax Partner is responsible for overseeing and providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to emerging growth and startup companies and entrepreneurs. The goal is to help these companies navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax and business strategies to support their growth and success. This is an opportunity to lead the Emerging Companies Group and drive its growth within the firm./ppResponsibilities:/pulliDevelop and maintain strong relationships with emerging company clients in industries ranging from technology, food beverage, health beauty, professional services, and other high growth industries./liliStrong business acumen to understand the needs and challenges of startups and growth stage businesses and provide tailored business services./liliCollaborate with clients to develop tax-efficient strategies aligned with their business goals./liliAdvise on tax implications of various business decisions, such as fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, international expansion, and employee stock options./liliEnsure clients tax compliance by reviewing tax returns, including federal, state, and local filings./liliStay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that could impact clients./liliHave a strong awareness of State and Local tax (SALT) matters and business tax nexus./liliOffer guidance on structuring equity compensation plans for employees, including stock options, restricted stock units, and more./liliDevelop continuous client outreach to discuss business issues and provide solutions to emerging companies./liliProvide guidance on research and development (RD) tax credits and other incentives relevant to emerging companies./liliLead and manage an existing dedicated team of tax professionals, including associates and senior associates./liliMentor junior team members, helping them develop their technical skills and expertise./liliIdentify opportunities for business growth and expansion within the emerging companies market./liliParticipate in business development activities, such as networking events, seminars, and conferences./liliCreate and execute a go to market strategy and look for opportunities for growth within the group./liliEducate clients on tax strategies, compliance requirements, and potential risks./liliProvide training sessions or workshops to help clients understand complex tax concepts./li/ulpQualifications:/ppEducation:/pulliBachelors degree (BA/BS) required or equivalent experience./liliCPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation or relevant professional qualification./li/ulpExperience:/pulliExtensive experience in providing tax advisory and compliance services to emerging companies and entrepreneurs./liliStrong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and their application to startup businesses./liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills./liliLeadership experience and the ability to manage and motivate a team./liliBusiness acumen and the ability to think strategically./li/ulpCompensation:/pulliCompetitive annual salary in the range of $250,000 to $500,000+, based on individuals experience level./li/ulpAnchin provides comprehensive benefits, which you can view here./ppAttributes:/pulliAccountability: Follows through on commitments, does what you say you will do, even requiring some personal sacrifice./liliCommunicates Effectively: Delivers messages in a clear and concise manner, listens attentively./liliStrong Interpersonal Skills: Relates comfortably to all levels of people, both internally and externally./liliNimble Learner: Learns quickly when facing new situations, willingly takes on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks./liliTechnical Proficiency: Deals with technical issues comfortably and can complete work at a high level of proficiency./liliTechnologically Proficient: Ability to apply technology solutions to work./liliBeing Resilient: Shows confidence under pressure, maintains a positive attitude despite adversity./liliAction Oriented: Proactively seeks out new and challenging work./liliTrustworthiness: Keeps confidences and develops a reputation for being honest and ethical./li/ulpAnchin is an equal opportunity employer who agrees not to discriminate against any employee or job applicant irrespective of race, color, creed, alienage, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender (including gender identity), marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship, or any other characteristic protected by law.
