Responsibilities Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Care for a culturally diverse and high-risk OB patient population RNs circulate on cesarean sections Night shifts (3x12 hours, 18 : 00-06 : 30) with every other weekend required Floating required within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals Epic EMR is used and previous experience is required Responsibilities include providing care for high-risk obstetric patients and circulating during cesarean sections Night shift schedule requiring coverage of at least two major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year Scrubs in any solid color are allowed, with Royal Blue or Navy preferred First-time travelers are accepted Modules must be completed prior to start and annually RTO must be requested at the time of application; minimal approved RTO is allowed Travelers expected to float between all facilities within the state Free parking is provided on the first day with assignment of parking during orientation Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of application Minimum of 1 year recent Labor and Delivery experience Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NRP Experience with Epic EMR required Must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639276.
