General Responsibilities :

• Conceptualize initial design approaches for major project phases or oversee engineering work on smaller projects.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate engineering tasks, including complex features and conflicting requirements.
• Supervise less experienced engineers or technical support personnel as needed.
• Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques and procedures independently.
• Coordinate with internal clients to gather additional information.
• Make decisions on procedures when information is incomplete.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.
• Take initiative and coordinate with the design team.
• Apply basic mathematical skills to manipulate design formulas.
• Communicate effectively with senior staff, clients, and agencies.
• Understand all phases of engineering document production and their relationships.

Required Education / Licenses :

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Licensed Professional Engineer

Required Experience :

5+ years of post-graduate experience

Strong communication skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

Ability to build strong relationships
