Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

The largest Functional Medicine office in New Jersey is seeking a

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in functional and aesthetic medicine

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will focus on addressing the root causes of chronic illness and enhancing natural beauty through advanced aesthetic procedures. This role combines holistic, patient-centered care with modern anti-aging and aesthetic treatments.

Experience in weight loss consultations, vitamin and hormone imbalance management, and IV therapy is required.

Responsibilities

Functional Medicine :

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical history, lifestyle, nutrition, and lab reviews.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans addressing hormonal imbalances, fatigue, weight issues, gut health, stress and vitamins.

Order and interpret advanced diagnostic testing (hormonal panels, GI testing, micronutrient testing, etc.).

Collaborate with the integrative care team to provide lifestyle and supplement guidance.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Aesthetic Medicine :

Perform non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as Botox / Dysport, dermal fillers, PRP, microneedling, and skin rejuvenation treatments.

Consult with clients on desired outcomes and develop customized aesthetic treatment plans.

Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with aesthetic safety protocols.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant license in NJ

Minimum of 2 years' experience in both functional / integrative medicine and aesthetic procedures.

Preferrable : Certification in aesthetic procedures (e.g., Botox, fillers, laser, PRP).

Familiarity with functional medicine tools and lab testing (DUTCH test, GI-MAP, etc.).

Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills.

Passion for holistic wellness, preventative care, and patient education.

EMR proficiency and comfort with technology.

Additional training or certification in Functional Medicine (e.g., IFM, A4M, or similar)

preferred

Experience with IV therapy, bioidentical hormone replacement, or peptide therapy.

Experience in wellness programs, concierge or integrative medical settings.
