Description :
The Medical Request Processor will perform assigned duties related to the medical records office. Primary focus in processing requests to obtain medical records and billing documentation, under the direction of the Litigation Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process requests for medical records and billing within the expected time frame outlined by management
- Download and purchase electronic itemized billing statements and forward to appropriate paralegal
- Balance verifications
- Distribute and save medical records received electronically from providers to appropriate paralegal
- Communicate and correspond with paralegals regarding status and inquiries
- Regular, consistent, punctual attendance
- Provide general clerical support, as well as other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Education and Experience
This position is Monday - Friday in office.
