JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Mississippi State License

Board :

Nurse Practitioner Board Certified through AANP or ANCC (FNP)

Physician Assistant Certified through NCCPA

DEA : Active DEA with Controlled Substance Permit (CSPA)

Certifications : ACLS, PALS, and BLS required

Experience : Prior emergency medicine experience preferred

Other Qualifications : Must maintain 40 CME credits, case logs, and supervising protocol

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients across all acuity levels

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical emergencies

Perform procedures within the approved scope of practice

Order and interpret diagnostic tests and initiate treatment plans

Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and coordination of care

Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams

Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards
