Descripción del trabajoMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Eligible / Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. 2 years of experience is required. Valid medical license to practice in NC. Excellent clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Nocturnist Physician (Internal Medicine / Family Medicine) - Statesville, NC
Job Type : Full Time
Shifts : 7on / 7off (7PM-7AM)
Responsibilities :
- Work a consistent 7 on / 7 off schedule, covering night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Receive assistance from an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) from 7 PM to 3 AM.
- Manage an average of 8 admissions per shift and handle cross-cover responsibilities
- Be responsible for managing rapid responses and codes
- Focus on patient care without the need to perform procedures
- Work in an open ICU setting
- Contribute to the care of a hospital with an average total census of 120 patients.
