Java Engineer

A company is looking for a Java Engineer to lead the development and support of mission-critical systems for secure communication between Veterans and their healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain microservice-based REST APIs and legacy Java applications

Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to design scalable solutions

Ensure seamless integration across VA infrastructure systems

Required Qualifications

2-5 years of backend software engineering experience

Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot

Experience designing and developing secure RESTful APIs

Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle

Bachelor's Degree
