The Purchasing Coordinator supports the purchasing department by processing purchase orders, maintaining records, and communicating with vendors. This role ensures timely and accurate documentation of procurement activities and helps maintain inventory levels to support daily operations. What you will do Place and maintain purchase orders based on daily requisitions and material demand. Monitor backorders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services Manage inventory levels of consumables such as paper products, kitchen supplies, and maintenance items Respond to MPS / MRP requirements and place orders for inventory Communicate with vendors regarding deliveries, returns, and invoice-related issues Ensure financial accuracy through proper receiving and invoicing procedures Review monthly credit card statements for accuracy and follow up on discrepancies Maintain organized procurement records, including vendor information, purchase orders, and documentation for offsite storage Track and manage blanket orders for gas usage, marketing materials, annual apparel orders, and service contracts Support facilities management by coordinating vendor meetings and placing related purchase orders. Oversee the recycling program and monitor weekly delivery of consumables Qualifications Associates degree (A.A.) from an accredited two-year college or university; plus one to three years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum $50,000 -Maximum $57,000. The base range above represents the low and high end of the JEOL salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on several factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
