Crane Operator

Position: Crane Operator (Manitowoc 3900 Vicon)
Job Location: Belle Chase, LA
Hutco Branch: Harvey, LA
Rate of Pay: $28.00 to $38.00 per hour. Based on experience. Time and a half for overtime after 40 hours.

Hutco Inc. is looking for a 1st-class crane operator to operate a 3900 Vicon Manitowoc crane at a shipyard in Belle Chase, LA. It primarily repairs work on barges and boats. No training opportunities are available. Looking for crane operators with experience only.

NO TWIC card is required. NO per diem is available.

LONG-TERM WORK. LOTS OF HOURS AVAILABLE!!

General Description:
Performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to the following:
Operates cranes, cherry pickers, and other equipment used in lifting and manipulating loads in the repair and/or construction of marine vessels and associated equipment. Performs service and maintenance on equipment, refueling, and manipulates cables, chains, shackles, tag lines, and other equipment. Outside working conditions with fumes, odors, and dust.
