About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : LTC / SNF RN

Specialty : Nursing

Duration : Casual PRN or 12-hour shifts

Shift : Varied

Hours per Shift : Day Shift : 6 am to 6 pm; Night Shift : 6 pm to 6 am

Experience : Two to five years of previous inpatient nursing experience preferred

License : Current valid Registered Nurse License or valid compact multistate license

Certifications :

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred at time of hire, required within 3 months of hire

Preferred : Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certificate (C.EFM) of Added Qualification from NCC within 1 year of eligibility

Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Must-Have : Graduate from an accredited Diploma School of Nursing / College of Nursing with an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Description :

The practice of nursing by a registered nurse involves the assumption of responsibility and accountability for nursing actions.

This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing diagnoses.

The registered nurse will execute prescribed diagnostic and therapeutic treatment regimens.

Responsibilities include administering, delegating, and evaluating nursing activities.

Casual / PRN employees work on an as-needed basis to meet the needs of the business.

Workdays and hours may vary from week to week.

Exceptional self-direction and communication skills with a variety of disciplines are essential.
