Title :

  • Tasting Room Sales Associate – Part-time  Location :   Oxnard, CA  Schedule / Hours :   24-32 hours per week – Closing and Mid-shifts available   1 : 00 p.m. to close or 12pm to 8 : 30 pm   Mandatory Sunday – Thursday (NO Fridays or Saturdays)  Multiple shifts available!  Compensation : $18-$20 per hour   At Tierra Sur, the renowned dining establishment of Herzog Wine Cellars, we cultivate a dynamic and inspiring environment where tradition and passion converge to create exceptional wines and deliver an extraordinary culinary experience.

Our dedication to pushing boundaries and creating innovative offerings sets us apart.  Currently, we are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Tasting Room Sales Associate to join our team and contribute to the continued success of Tierra Sur and Herzog Wine Cellars.  What You’ll Do :

  • Provide exceptional customer experiences to build brand loyalty through greeting visitors and building relationships with guests.  Serve wines in accordance with Tierra Sur training and standards.  Handle high volume wine and merchandise transactions.  Present the benefits of Wine Club programs and contribute to its growth.  Ensure smooth daily operations, including effective communication, managing traffic flow, and engaging guests.  Assist with Wine Club shipments, handling wine case logistics, and meeting sales targets.  What You’ll Need to Succeed :   High school diploma or general education degree (GED)  Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a wine tasting room, marketing, public relations, hospitality, or related field preferred  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects  Attention to detail, responsiveness, judgment, and proactive organization and planning skills  Customer service-focused with a professional and courteous demeanor  Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills  What Tierra Sur Offers You :   Competitive hourly wage, along with opportunities to earn tips and sales bonuses based on performance.   Employee Discount Program, allowing you to enjoy our exceptional wines and dining experiences at a discounted rate.  Provide opportunities for career development and advancement, fostering growth and development for our employees.  Please note that these are just some potential examples and the specific benefits and perks offered may vary based on the position and location.  Compensation :   Salary range between $18.00 - $20.00 hourly plus tips – may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on wine membership sales.  Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.  About Tierra Sur :   Tierra Sur, an integral part of Herzog Wine Cellars, offers a refined and extraordinary dining experience that harmoniously blends pure foods, elevated flavors, and sensory excitement.
