As a Quantum Computing Research Scientist within The Global Technology Applied Research (GTAR), you will develop and scale up high-performance numerical methods to advance the study of quantum algorithms, quantum cryptography, and quantum compilation.
Job responsibilities
Drive a research agenda using numerical methods to advance quantum computing
Lead the development of numerical methods for exact and approximate simulation of quantum circuits and dynamics of quantum systems
Scale up numerical methods on HPC clusters and supercomputers
Perform large-scale simulations and document the results in scientific papers.
Implement, maintain, and manage a codebase of quantum simulation techniques.
