Manufacturing Engineer - Janus

Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer will plan and design manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Focus on being a key contributor to one or more facets of varied projects with the skills and abilities reflective of professional training.
• Develop complete intermediate level work plans for small projects / sub projects / assignments, including expense / capital estimates and cost / benefit analysis.
• Manage capital equipment projects, Input on Machine design, vendor selection, Equipment design reviews.
• Communicate with vendors to coordinate quotes, prototypes, and production plans.
• Support a production line to achieve business metrics and work with supervisors and production staff to determine improvements
• Work in a team environment to perform problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement projects aligned to lean manufacturing principles.
• Able to solve complex problems with practical solutions.
• Work with other functional areas on projects / assignments.
