Medical Director (Springfield)

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Director to lead clinical operations in our Long-Term Care facility. This role ensures high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and medical team leadership.

Position Summary :

Job Title : Medical Director-LTC

Location : Springfield, MA 01199

Duration : 48 Weeks Contract (Possible Extension)

Schedule : M-F with EOW

Shift : Days (8x5)

Pay Range : $3200-$4000 / Gross Weekly

Key Responsibilities :

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all resident care

Supervise and support medical staff and interdisciplinary teams

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards

Develop and implement clinical policies and protocols

Lead quality improvement and infection control initiatives

Communicate with families, staff, and external care providers

Requirements :

Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with valid license to practice in MA

Board certified in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine, or related specialty

Minimum 5 years' clinical experience in LTC, geriatrics, or similar setting

Proven leadership and administrative experience in healthcare

Strong understanding of long-term care regulations and best practices
