External Affairs - Communications specialist

Crystal Stairs is looking to hire a Communications Specialist responsible for curating communications content : Everything from story-telling, social media posts, to developing e-blasts. The right person for this role is a talented writer, who can tell compelling stories with ease and effectiveness. This role is also tasked with tracking campaign analytics and maintaining digital media archives. The Communications Specialist will report directly to the External Affairs Coordinator, which is a cross-functional team of three verticals : Marketing Communications, Public Relations, and Social Media / Community Engagement.

A bachelor's degree in communications or journalism is preferred, but not required. Prior experience creating digital content and managing communications campaigns is required and a writing sample must be submitted with your application to be considered for this position. Strong writing and analytical skills are the most essential qualifications for this role. Successful candidates exemplify superior time management skills, work well under quick deadlines, are creative thinkers, and can work well in a team setting or independently.
