Join Us as an Engineering Intern!
Are you ready to take your Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering education to the next level? International is seeking passionate Engineering Interns to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and researchers to design, develop, and optimize mechanical & electrical components and systems for our cutting-edge vehicles. Your contributions will be crucial in enhancing the design and performance of our entire vehicle lineup.
Interviews for this role will begin early October, with projected start dates in May and June 2026.

What You'll Do :
Design and Develop : Use CAD software to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
Analyze and Validate : Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure designs meet safety and performance standards.
Select Components : Participate in selecting appropriate electrical components, sensors, and actuators based on design requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate and Contribute : Work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design and develop electrical systems, components, and software applications for our vehicles.
Prototype and Test : Participate in the fabrication, testing, and evaluation of prototypes to refine designs.
Innovate : Contribute to brainstorming sessions and design reviews to solve engineering challenges.
Enhance Functionality : Contribute to integrating sensor data, communication networks, and control algorithms to enhance vehicle functionality.
Stay Current : Keep up with emerging technologies, trends, and regulations in electrical engineering and transportation.

At least Sophomore standing for undergrad at the time of application
Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August)
Previous applicable internships
Self-starter
High level of computer skills (Microsoft Applications and Internet)

We provide a competitive total rewards package which ensures job satisfaction both on and off the job.
The expected compensation hourly pay ranges for hires into our campus intern openings is $24 - $38 / hour. The hourly pay rate is based on year in school and is non-negotiable.
